Harendhira Prasad has called for collective efforts to eradicate TB. He flagged off an awareness rally at the Collectorate on the occasion of World TB Day on Tuesday. Addressing the gathering, the Collector said that 69,495 screening tests were conducted in Visakhapatnam district in 2025, and of them 4,957 positive cases were identified. The patients were given medication. The use of medication for six months as per schedule helps in quick recovery of patients.
