In view of the Panguni Peruvizha festival at Mylapore Kapaleeswarar Temple, which is to be held from March 23 to April 1, traffic diversions will be effected in and around the temple and on R.K. Mutt Road, the Greater Chennai City Police has said. The Adhikara Nandhi festival, the car festival, and the Arubathimoovar festival are scheduled to be held at 6 a.m. on March 25 and 29, and at 2.30 p.m. on March 30. The police said in view of these events, traffic diversions will be implemented based on the volume of devotees, and they will remain in force until the conclusion of the respective functions.
