Savithramma Government Women’s Degree College, Chittoor, for the academic year 2025-26 was released here on Monday, following the institution’s attainment of autonomous status. Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) Registrar M. Bhoopathi Naidu, who released the results officially, addressed a gathering of faculty and students. He urged the students to pursue excellence and advised those who did not clear examinations to treat setbacks as opportunities for improvement. The Registrar said that the Chittoor-based college was on a rapid academic expansion path, and had become a boon for girls from across Chittoor district. Principal K. Manohar noted the college’s performance in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. He said that the college recorded a pass percentage of 76.54% in its first results after attaining autonomy.
