Consumer body calls for better revenue management at temples in Coimbatore

The Citizen’s Voice Coimbatore (CVC) has flagged alleged revenue diversion at the Mettupalayam Bathrakaliamman Temple, where special darshan tickets priced at ₹300 and ₹500 were reportedly issued for ₹50.

R. Kumar, advisor, and C.M. Jayaraman, president, raised the issue during the recent quarterly meeting of Village Committee Officers (VCO)of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR & CE) Department.
