A file image of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. | Photo Credit: The Hindu Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday (March 23, 2026) will introduce the Corporate Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026, further to amend the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 and the Companies Act, 2013. The second phase of the Budget Session will reconvene on Monday (March 23, 2026) at 11 a.m. after holidays on Thursday and Friday, due to the Ugadi and Eid celebrations, respectively. Parliament will sit on March 28 and March 29 to compensate for these holidays. Union Minister of State (MoS) for Corporate Affairs Harsh Malhotra will make a statement on action taken by the Government on the previous recommendations of the Committee on Demands for Grants (2024-25).
