The Eluru Rural police conducted cordon and search operation at Indiramma Colony in Palagudem and seized 12 two-wheelers and a car that did not have valid documents. Police teams, led by trainee IPS officer Jaya Sharma, Eluru Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) D. Sravan Kumar, and other officers, searched the houses in the colony since morning on Sunday. They questioned the suspects and appealed to the residents to alert the nearby police if they noticed suspicious movement of strangers or any anti-social elements. Ms. Jaya Sharma appealed to the residents to cooperate with the police in combating drugs, ganja and crime.
