Jana Sena party aims for one lakh memberships in Srikakulam

Srikakulam Urban Development Authority chairman and Jana Sena Party Srikakulam Parliamentary wing in-charge Korikana Ravikumar on Sunday (March 22, 2026) said that the party has laid a strong foundation in all villages and mandals of the Srikakulam Lok Sabha segment. This was evident with the response the party received during the membership drive in the district in the last one month, he added.

He said that the party enrolled around 40,000 new members in 2025 and is all set to cross one lakh within a few days. Speaking to the media in Vizianagaram, he said that the villagers were happy with the speedy development of rural areas and were coming forward to enrol their names in ‘Udyami’ membership drive.

“The Jana Sena Party president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s clean image is encouraging people to take the membership of the party. Mr. Pawan Kalyan, who handles Panchayat Raj and Rural Development portfolios, has been putting special focus on the development of villages,” said Mr. Ravi Kumar.

The membership drive evoked a good response among the youngsters and women in villages as well as urban areas of the Lok Sabha segment. He said that he had submitted a note to Mr. Pawan Kalyan in Mangalagiri about the requirement of additional funds for the development of roads and water facilities in remote areas of the district.
