Days after the AIADMK lodged a complaint with the Election Commission that the DMK had erected 48 “sheds to confine voters” in different parts of the Karur constituency, former Minister and sitting MLA V. Senthilbalaji on Sunday denied the allegation, describing it as a malicious propaganda to undermine the electioneering of the party. He told reporters that it was a routine affair to establish party offices in every ward of Karur. Depending on the situation, election offices would be opened in rental buildings. If permanent buildings were not available, temporary structures were generally established for housing party offices.
