Elambahavath inspected polling stations across Srivaikuntam and Tiruchendur constituency on Saturday. Following the announcement of upcoming assembly elections for Tamil Nadu by the Election Commission of India, election preparedness work has been progressing at full swing in Thoothukudi. The general, expenditure and police observers deployed for Thoothukudi district also monitor the election arrangements in the district. In addition 24×7 control control has been established in Thoothukudi district, and is functioning.
