A 51-year-old teacher from Shivalli in Udupi district has registered a complaint to the police stating that she lost ₹11.75 lakh to an online trading fraud. In the complaint to Udupi’s Cyber Economic and Narcotic Crime Station, the victim said she saw a video of Amar Ujala Bonus trading on YouTube and downloaded Amar Ujala Bonus app. After 15 days, she was made a part of A20 stock market profit guide group on WhatsApp, where tips about trading was being given. She received the link for SALT Cap app, which she downloaded and furnished KYC particulars.
