A 50-year-old migrant worker was killed after the goods lift in a factory snapped near Kodungaiyur on Saturday. The police said Sandeep, a resident of the Kodungaiyur, owns and operates a steel utensil manufacturing company located along the Kodungaiyur – Tondiarpet highway. In his factory, Nantharam, a relative of Sandeep, hailing from Rajasthan, was employed as a helper.
