Welding, forging units flag LPG shortage

Industries such as battery manufacturing, welding, and forging units, which rely on LPG for heat-based processes, have flagged LPG shortages to the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), saying the disruption has begun to affect their operations. 

At a meeting held on Saturday with FKCCI president Uma Reddy, industry representatives said they were already facing supply constraints, which are impacting day-to-day activities.
