Speaking to reporters after launching the distribution of Form 12D for postal ballots on Saturday, Dr. Sukumar said wheelchairs would be kept ready in 755 polling booths to assist senior citizens and physically challenged voters if they preferred to cast their votes at the polling booths. If not, distribution of Form 12 D to 10,355 senior citizens and 10,079 physically challenged electorate would be ensured so that they could cast postal ballots. Distribution of the forms would go on up to April 4.
