Further investigation is under way to trace the unidentified attacker. | Photo Credit: Big_Ryan A 38-year-old man who was brutally assaulted by an unidentified attacker in west Bengaluru’s Kamakshipalya was rescued in time by the city police in the early hours of Friday (March 20). The incident occurred around 7.10 a.m. near a petrol bunk in Vinayaka Nagar, under the jurisdiction of the Kamakshipalya Police Station. The victim, who works at a granite company, was returning home after finishing his shift when an unknown assailant allegedly slit his throat with a knife and fled the spot.
