The Legal Coordination Committee for Government Doctors (LCC) has requested the Chief Minister to fulfil the long-pending demands of government doctors similar to fulfilling the 22-year-old demand for pension scheme of government employees. The association demanded an increase in the number of doctors and nurses in government hospitals, implementation of Government Order 354 relating to salary and a government job for the wife of government doctor Vivekanandan who died during COVID-19. Government doctors must be granted pay band 4 within 12 years of service, the association said, adding that they have started a protest of returning the statements issued earlier by the CM in support of doctors.
