The Thiruvottiyur Police arrested two persons, including a 21-year-old history-sheeter, for assaulting and robbing a 49-year-old construction worker in Thiruvottiyur on Friday. A senior official of the City Police said Pandian was a resident of Bazaar Street in Thazhankuppam near Ennore, and was walking home near the Thiruvottiyur flyover on the Thursday night after finishing his work.
