Habitual offender arrested – The Hindu

The Museum police have arrested a 55-year-old habitual offender, identified as Biju, alias Attingal Ayyappan, in connection with multiple criminal cases including theft and assault.

According to the police, the accused, a resident of Chirayinkeezhu, was taken into custody as part of a targeted operation conducted under ‘Operation Dark Hunt’, aimed at apprehending individuals involved in serious crimes.

The police stated that non-bailable warrants had been issued against Biju in at least two cases prior to his arrest. Acting on police intelligence, the team tracked him down and carried out the arrest following a search operation. He has been remanded to judicial custody.
