Minister for Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department, C.V.Ganesan, presented the awards to 196 factory managements and 122 workers in this function. “Ensuring safety at workplace should not be a legal responsibility, but it should be an industrial culture,” said him. Cash awards were presented to workers for their suggestions in enhancing safety in work place. Around 800 persons from various factories in Tamil Nadu attended this function.
