Vizianagaram Joint Collector S. Sedhu Madhavan has directed all revenue officials to address land-related grievances quickly. He said: “Revenue officials in all mandals should dispose petitions in a time-bound manner, and in case of doubts, higher officials must be consulted and their suggestions taken before final decisions are made.” Addressing the media on Thursday, Mr. Madhavan said that applications related to exemption from 22A prohibitory category would be processed within a stipulated time period in all mandals of the district. He also directed the officials to issue pattadar passbooks to property owners wherever the land survey had been completed in their respective mandals. He further asked officials to maintain a digital revenue registry as part of transparency in land-related administrative activities.
