General and expenditure observers arrived in Sivaganga district on Thursday. At a meeting the three observers, District Election Officer K. Porkodi and other officials explained the steps taken in the Assembly constituencies since March 15. Voter awareness programmes, Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls conducted in the district and the total number of eligible voters were among the issues that came up for discussion at the meeting.
