The Andhra Pradesh government released the Yuvagalam Job Calendar for 2026 on the occasion of Ugadi on Thursday, to fill 10,060 posts through the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) during the year. 

The recruitment notification for 1,500 posts in the Higher Education Department is scheduled to be issued on May 15, 2026. It will be followed by another notification on August 15 to fill 3,797 posts—2,778 in Home Department, 928 in other departments and 91 APPSC Group-I posts. 

Further, a notification would be issued on September 15 to fill 1,759 posts, including 750 APPSC Group-II posts, 503 in Engineering Department and 506 in other departments. Another one to fill 3,004 posts in school and intermediate education departments will be released on October 15. 

The Job Calendar is one of the key promises made by the TDP-JSP- BJP alliance in the run-up to the 2024 elections to fill vacant posts in government departments every year, especially the teacher posts through Mega DSC examinations. 

Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan described the release of the job calendar as another step to fulfil the aspirations of the youth. In total, 30,607 government jobs have been provided in the last 20 months, he said and encouraged the youth to avail of the opportunity. 

IT & HRD Minister Nara Lokesh called the job calendar a ‘Ugadi gift to the youth’.

He said the recruitment exams would be conducted within the stipulated timeframe and all the announced posts would be filled. The syllabus for these exams would be announced in advance.
