Kunal Kemmu and Preity Zinta will be teaming up for the upcoming dark-comedy, Vibe. Written and directed by Kemmu, the film also features Sparsh Shrivastava and Vanshika Dhir in pivotal roles. The film was announced as part of Prime Video’s slate of 2026 and will be released theatrically under Amazon MGM Studios. Its synopsis reads, “A clueless slacker and his by-the-book best friend—two men who can barely manage their own lives—find the fate of the nation in their hands when they accidentally stumble into a terrorist plot.” Vibe has been produced by Kunal and Chirag Nihalani under their banner Drongo Films. Kunal made his directorial debut in 2024 with Madgaon Express, which starred Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary and Divyenndu in the lead. It tells the story of three friends whose Goa trip ends up in a nightmare as they cross paths with drug lords. Meanwhile, Preity will also be seen in Sunny Deol’s Lahore 1947, which is backed by Aamir Khan and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
