The three-day gala will be held on the premises of Kanakakkunnu Palace. The fete, which began as a flea market in 2018, has evolved into a cultural celebration featuring unique brands, artistes, and entrepreneurs. “At the last edition of Olam, we had around 25,000 visitors, and we are expecting more this year,” says Anina Elizabeth Jacob, co-founder of Olam. Kutty Olam, one of the key highlights of the festival, is “bigger than ever before”, adds Anina. “A lot of students from schools across the city are coming together with their pop-up initiatives. There will be student vendors selling products they make at home and concerts for children.” “This year, we have an exclusive zone for performances, where you will see artists showcasing their craft,” says Anina. “We are trying to shift from the usual idea of concerts by hosting Thiruvananthapuram’s biggest house party, called The House Social.” Musicians Daszi, V3K, and Lettisha are performing on the first day of the festival. On the second day, artistes The Imbachi, Kalla Sha, Anohnymouss, Stic and Pigbee will take the stage. And on day three, DJ Shekhar, Bonny Abraham, Mindbook, Teknot and 2cute2kill will perform. Tickets for Olam 2026 can be purchased on olamfestival.com. Rates start from ₹250.
