A team of TTD priests accompanied by Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Thursday (March 19) rendered Vedasirvachanams on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on the auspicious occasion of Sri Parabhavanama Telugu Ugadi at his residence in Amaravati.

He was also presented with Prasadams of Lord Venkateswara, as part of the ceremonial observance.

Later Mr. Chowdary formally invited Mr. Naidu to attend the annual Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam on April 1 at the historic Ontimitta temple of Sri Kodandarama Swamy in Kadapa which is known for hosting the State-sponsored celestial wedding ceremony of Lord Rama and Sita every year.

The TTD delegation also called on Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and formally invited him to attend the Ontimitta Kalyanotsavam after the customary asirvachanams.

The annual Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam at Ontimitta is a significant religious event in the State calendar, drawing devotees from across the State and beyond.
