Senior journalist M.A. Raheem, a widely-respected figure, passed away on Tuesday after prolonged illness, his family stated. The Namaz-e-Janaza (funeral prayer) is scheduled to be held after Zohr prayers at 1.15 p.m. on Wednesday at Jama Masjid in AC Guards, beside Mahaveer Hospital. Burial will take place at the AC Guards graveyard, beside KGN Xerox, in Khairatabad. Mr. Raheem’s passing is seen as a significant loss to the journalists community.
