A ‘kavi sammelan’ will be held in Khammam on January 12 as a prelude to the concluding meeting of the CPI’s centenary year celebrations slated to be held in the town on January 18. According to party sources, the literary event will be organised at the DPRC Bhavan in the town. A galaxy of eminent literary personalities, including progressive poets will participate in the event. An anthology of poems on the centenary of the CPI will be released at the event. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Communist Party of India Secretary D. Raja, among others, will address the public meeting to be held in Khammam on January 18, party sources added. A national level seminar will be organised on January 20. National leaders of all the Left parties will attend.
