In a major haul, the police on Wednesday seized 98.5 kg of ganja from a workshop at Kuniyamuthur in Coimbatore and arrested five persons on the charge of procuring and stocking the contraband. The operation was carried out under the directions of City Police Commissioner N. Kannan as part of intensified efforts to curb the circulation and movement of narcotic substances in the city.
