Taking a leaf out of campaigns across the country to encourage people to vote, the State Election Commission is planning to launch a unique awareness campaign targeting the city’s households through schools and colleges for the upcoming Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) polls. G.S. Sangreshi, State Election Commissioner, in conversation with The Hindu on Tuesday, said that they are planning to rope in school and college students to encourage their parents by signing a “pledge letter” that they will vote.
