Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda and Minority Welfare and Housing Minister B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan on Wednesday handed over titles to 30 families in an apartment complex in Baiyappanahalli. This comes nearly three months after government agencies demolished more than 160 houses in Fakir Colony and parts of Waseem Layout in Kogilu Layout, Yelahanka.

Of the 30 beneficiaries, 10 belong to the general category, seven to the Scheduled Castes, two to the Scheduled Tribes, and 11 to minority communities.
