The Election Commission has made arrangements for voters aged 85 years and above and persons with disabilities to cast their votes through the postal ballot system for the Assembly elections scheduled on April 23, 2026. In a release, District Election Officer and Collector S. Kandasamy said polling will be held across all eight Assembly constituencies in the district, and eligible voters who are unable to visit polling stations can opt for postal voting.
