MDMK MP from Tiruchi Durai Vaiko has criticised the “imposition of Hindi” in official communication from the Lok Sabha Speaker’s office. In a letter addressed to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Mr. Vaiko said he received a communication from the Speaker’s office that was fully in Hindi including his name and address. He could identify the sender as the words ‘Speaker, Lok Sabha’ alone were printed in English.
