Mohanachandran has exhorted owners of petrol bunk, marriage halls and pawn shops to cooperate with the Election Commission in ensuring fair conduct of elections in Tiruvarur district. At a meeting with their representatives on Tuesday, the DEO explained various aspects of the model code of conduct that came into effect imemdiately after the election schedule for Tamil Nadu was announced.
