The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday questioned the Centre’s denial of LPG shortage despite nationwide reports of people standing in queues for gas cylinders and hotels shutting down.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters, senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh said, “People are standing in queues. Gas cylinders are being sold for ₹7,000 to ₹10,000 on the black market. The Delhi High Court canteen, many hotels and canteens have shut down. Yet, spokespersons of the Central government are claiming that there is no shortage and the crisis is merely an allegation by the Opposition.”
