MOHAN Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday (March 17) kick-started his election campaign from his home constituency, Dharmadam. The Chief Minister held a roadshow from the airport to Pinarayi marking his visit to the constituency after the announcement of candidates for the Assembly elections. Mr. Vijayan’s first public election meeting will be held at Pinarayi. . The contest in Dharmadam is heating up with Mr. Vijayan seeking a third consecutive term, banking on a decade-long tenure as the constituency’s representative. Meanwhile, the Congress has fielded V.P. Abdul Rasheed in the constituency.
