Praveen Kumar inaugurated voter awareness campaigns in the district on Tuesday. A signature campaign was conducted at the Collectorate. Government officials participated in the event. Following the signature campaign, the Collector inaugurated an awareness campaign at Sri Meenakshi Government Arts College for Women. A character named ‘Sabanayagi’ was created to spread awareness. As part of the event, a drawing and painting competition was conducted. The Collector chaired a consultation meeting with bankers, pawn brokers, owners of marriage halls, meeting halls, printing press and lodges with regard to the upcoming Assembly elections.
