The former Governor of Puducherry and Telengana Tamilisai Soundararajan on Tuesday met the parents of Class XII girl, who was found murdered in her village near Kulathur in the district on March 11. After consoling the bereaved parents, Dr. Tamilisai said the Kulathur police, who should have immediately started searching for the missing girl upon getting complaint from the parents, had ignored and mocked at them. The Vilaathikulam All Women Police had rebuked the distraught parents and forced them to file their complaint with the Kulathur police next morning.
