Minister for Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy on Tuesday (March 17, 2026) hosted an ‘Iftar’ party for the Muslim community, where he announced the sanction of ‘Shadi Manzil’ (wedding hall) in Atmakur. Conveying his best wishes to the community members by giving them a warm hug, he donned the traditional cap, and participated in the prayers held at Rahamathiya mosque in Atmakur town. Later, Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy reiterated the NDA government’s resolve to accord due importance to the minority community and also pointed out that Muslims were given priority in the welfare schemes in the State. He later told the media that he had prayed for global peace in the backdrop of tension in West Asia. He also sought the Almighty’s blessings for the development of the State and the country.
