Assembly Speaker G. Prasad Kumar giving clean chit to Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender in the disqualification filed by the Bharat Rashtra Samiti figured in the Assembly yet again. BRS working president and MLA K.T. Rama Rao raised the issue during the debate on the motion of thanks to Governor’s address on Tuesday asking the rationale behind the verdict despite Mr. Nagender elected on behalf of one party contesting as MP from other party. “Don’t make allegations without reading the full copy of the judgment. Read it fully and ask questions,” the Speaker said responding to Mr. Rama Rao’s query. The BRS working president however retorted saying he could question the Chair as he was a member of the House and he would continue to raise questions against such decisions. The BRS, he said, would approach the High Court and the Supreme Court if need be on the issue. But the party would raise its voice against such decisions, he said.
