A 23-year-old man was killed in a road accident near Wipro Circle in Gachibowli in the early hours of Tuesday after the motorcycle he was riding rammed into a road divider. The deceased was identified as Suraj Singh, a native of Uttar Pradesh, who was working as a receptionist at a hotel in Gowlidoddi, Serilingampally. Police said they received a call through Dial 100 at about 1.46 a.m. about the accident. According to the preliminary enquiry, Singh lost control of his motorcycle and hit the divider near the main gate of Virtusa on the road towards Nanakramguda. He was shifted to a private hospital, where he succumbed while undergoing treatment. The duty doctor declared him dead at about 8.20 a.m. on Tuesday. A case has been booked and further investigation is under way.
