Municipal Minister P. Narayana on Tuesday inaugurated the newly-developed Alluri Sitharama Raju Park, built at a cost of ₹10 crore, in the A.P. Housing Board Colony in Ward 76 of Gajuwaka. He was accompanied by Gajuwaka MLA and A.P. TDP president Palla Srinivasa Rao, Mayor Peela Srinivasa Rao, GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg and other officials. The park is equipped with an amphitheatre, a box cricket facility, a cafeteria, a water fountain featuring a statue of Alluri Sitharama Raju, walking tracks, seating areas, greenery, a children’s play arena and an open gym.
