Photo: By Arrangement | Photo Credit: HANDOUT After Suneetha Narreddy, daughter of slain MP Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, criticised the CBI probe into her father’s murder, Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy, who also has a long-standing feud with the Narreddys over the issue, has picked out flaws in the CBI investigation. Addressing the media in New Delhi on Monday, he blamed Ms. Suneetha of conveniently ignoring several unanswered questions and trying to target the innocent. “Suneetha’s family had directed the slain MP’s personal assistant Krishna Reddy to hide the suspicious letter found at the crime spot. Why there is no probe into that?” he questioned. While Ms. Suneetha had raised objection over every anticipatory bail filed in the case, she strangely supported the bail plea filed by the accused turned approver Shaik Dastagiri and even impleaded in his favour, he alleged. Pointing to Mr. Vivekananda Reddy’s son, born from his second marriage and likely to stake a claim to family properties, Mr. Avinash Reddy alleged that the first beneficiary of Viveka’s untimely death would be the ‘first family’ (Suneetha).
