Ahead of the AI Impact Summit 2026 that is set to be held in New Delhi in February with delegates representing nearly 100 countries and leading global technology companies, the State government is organising a one-day summit titled Kerala AI Future Con at The Leela Raviz at Kovalam in the capital on January 23. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the AI Future Con summit.

The Kerala State IT Mission is coordinating the regional AI Impact summit, which is being organised under the leadership of the Department of Information Technology, India AI Mission and Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) . Kerala IT, Kerala Startup Mission, Digital University, CDIT, and ICFOSS, are the official partners of the conference.

A thought-leadership arena featuring keynotes, panel discussions, and masterclasses by global AI experts, researchers, and policymakers will be part of the summit. The sessions will cover frontier themes such as AI for Public Good, Responsible AI, Generative AI for Governance, AI and Climate Resilience, and AI in Health and Education.

As part of the AI for governance forum, various departments and missions will present live applications and prototypes — such as predictive analytics in land management, AI-based citizen feedback systems, disaster risk forecasting, and service automation.
