Government-run Osmania General Hospital (OGH) in Hyderabad has bolstered its existing foot care centre with the inauguration of a facility that will provide lightweight, 3D-printed artificial limbs to patients who have undergone amputations. The facility was inaugurated on Monday by hospital superintendent Rakesh Sahay.

The initiative aims to support patients who lose limbs due to trauma or complications such as gangrenous diabetic ulcers. The artificial limbs are produced using lightweight materials through 3D printing, enabling them to be designed according to the exact dimensions of each patient.
