With the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) coming into force in the State following the announcement of poll by Election Commission of India (ECI), Dindigul District Collector-cum-Election Officer S. Saravanan said that the poll staff shall handle the senior citizens and womenfolk with dignity. Speaking with the poll officials drawn from multiple departments, he said that the district has many tourist spots. Public from various States visited the places in and around Dindigul district. Hence, he appealed to the poll staff to handle them with dignity while discharging their duties.
