Domestic LPG cooking gas cylinders are adequately stocked in the district and are being supplied without interruption. Deputy Commissioner Shreerupa has urged the public not to panic and to book cylinders only according to their actual requirement.

The district administration has held discussions with all LPG distributors operating in the district to ensure regulated usage and uninterrupted supply. Officials have confirmed that there is sufficient stock of domestic LPG cylinders and that distributors will continue delivering cylinders to consumers’ doorsteps as usual. Strict instructions have also been issued to all LPG distributors in this regard.

If consumers face any issues in LPG distribution, they may contact the helpline numbers provided by the administration for assistance. The contact numbers include the Deputy Commissioner’s Office (Food), Chamarajanagar, at 08226-224660 or 9159466455; Sales Officer (HPC) at 9159466455; Sales Officer (BPC) at 9853735944; and Sales Officer (IOC) at 9448289912, according to a press release.

The Deputy Commissioner warned that strict action will be taken under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, and related control orders if any unauthorised storage or illegal sale of LPG cylinders is detected. The public has been requested to cooperate with the administration to ensure smooth and proper distribution of domestic LPG cylinders in the district.
