In an official release, West Godavari Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi has stated; “On March 14, Bhimavaram-based court has awarded a life sentence to Namma Ravi for stabbing his mother, Nammi Ramalakshmi (60), at his residence at Toorpupeta village of Palakoderu Mandal in West Godavari district on May 24 in 2024”. Ms. Ramalakshmi was declared dead while undergoing medical treatment. “The local court has also imposed ₹10,000 fine on the convicted person”, said Mr. Nayeem Asmi.
