Unidentified men stabbed 32-year-old Baswant Kadolkar, driver of Mrunal Hebbalkar, son of Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, in Belagavi on Tuesday. The driver is undergoing treatment in a hospital and is said to be out of danger. He told the police that more than two people stopped him on Club Road in Belagavi and attacked him with a knife. Passers-by shifted him to hospital. Deputy Commissioner of Police Narayan Baramani visited the scene of crime and also the hospital. Investigators are collecting CCTV footage of the area. A case is being registered.
