Former MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy found with cocaine during raid at Moinabad farmhouse

A raid was conducted at the farmhouse of former BRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy in Moinabad by the EAGLE force of Telangana Police on Saturday night following a tip-off about an alleged drug party during the weekend.

Officials said the team reached the farmhouse in Moinabad at around 10 p.m. and found several people present at the premises. About 2 gm of cocaine was seized during the raid.

Sources said former MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy was present at the farmhouse along with around 10 others, including one woman. An MP from Eluru and another politician from Delhi were also among those present.

Police officials said those present at the farmhouse were not cooperating with the team. They allegedly refused to identify themselves and were also not cooperating with the police in providing urine samples for drug testing.

The raid was carried out after the EAGLE force received information about a drug party being organised at the farmhouse over the weekend. Further investigation is under way.
