Sri Krishna Shelters approached the District Court in May 2023 over non-payment of the bill for the construction done in 2012-13. The firm had bagged the tender for the construction of the new building at ₹9 crore. Following non-completion of the work in two years, the then Deputy Commissioner allotted the work to another firm. The bill of Sri Krishna Shelters was kept pending by Nirmiti Kendra, along with a penalty amount for the delay. The firm approached the court of arbitration.
