A 40-year-old woman, who sustained severe injuries in a road accident on the newly inaugurated Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose bridge here on Friday, has died. Police said Nallammal, 40, of Uranganapatti, Melur, was riding her two-wheeler, when she was hit by a speeding car on the bridge. The severely injured woman was taken to Government Rajaji Hospital. While undergoing treatment, she died on Saturday.
